Item showed up without the becket. Picture showed a Beckett. I needed 2 of these and these are no good to me.

I have not installed these on my sailboat as yet but the quality of these blocks are great. The finish on the stainless steel is very nice. Time will tell if the plastic holds up to the elements. The 2 inch sheave spins smoothly. The 360 degree swivel shackle attaches with a pin that uses a flat blade screw driver to screw the pin into the other side of the shackle. There is no way to secure the pin other than a tight turn of the screw driver. I think the design goal is to have a clean attachment with no place for lines to snag. The hang tag indicates the becket pins are removable without the use of tools and easily locked back into position. I have not figured out how to do this just looking at it so I am going to have to call or email Ronstan to get better instructions. I intend to use these blocks on the jib sheets of my sailboat. From all indications of the product description these should do the job.I did email Ronstan and here is their reply:Hi Bob, the beckets are usually pretty tight from the factory, but the best way to remove it with no tools, is to lean the becket against the hard edge of a surface and put some force on it. It should pop up into the other slot holes and be able to be removed from there. Let me know if you have any more trouble with that, it can really take some force. Thanks, All the best!Morgan BairdRonstan USANote: The above procedure worked. Ronstan customer service replied very quickly. Thanks.
