Nothing fit as it should have.Printing was not quite centered.The wood was brittle and I broke quite a few pieces. I’ve done several of these and have never had that happened. It is a shame as I thought this was one of the prettier book nooks out there. I feel bad leaving a negative review but I had to be honest.Threw it out.

This is my first time constructing one of these book nooks. In my opinion, the materials are high quality. A few pieces are very fragile, but to my surprise, they provided extra ones, in case one got broken (lamp, globe, feather pen). I don’t think this would be suitable for young children since sometimes I needed some guidance from YouTube. In the end, the results are so pretty and everyone was amaze at how cool it looked. Took me about 12 hours to complete. I just had to buy the glue and some craft tweezers. Would buy from this company again.

Honestly this was almost perfect and the only reason it doesn't have 5/5 stars is because you need to have your own glue to put some parts of it together and buy your own batteries. Otherwise, this book nook was so fun to put together, had easy to follow instructions and is just so cute. I absolutely love the lights and little music box it came with. It took me about 5-6 hours to put together and I definitely recommend it :)

This is a very crowded, not well thought out nook. It looks better with modifications and leaving off the bridge. I would have liked a better hobbit house but was able to add my own greenery and rocks.

The quality of the wood pieces, including the print and cuts, was fantastic. However, I think I was missing some stuff, like the glue and the rings. Luckily I craft a lot so I had items that could take their place and I think they're pretty identical. It took me about 5 or 6 hours to put this together very casually throughout my day. I would definitely order from this series again.

I've purchased a few book nooks before, some were low quality or knock offs but this one was amazing! Pieces go together very well. Sadly there is no glue included so I would stock up on some super glue and also there is no dust cover provided. Besides that, this was one of the better quality book nooks I've worked on!

There are two issues I have with this kit, but first I will say that I have finished this kit and it all fitted together with minor problems. Now for the issues: 1) it came without the light bulb, which is a major prob, 2) it is made of high density board and not wood. On the box is written "DIY wooden book nook". Maybe they used to make them with wood and then decided that board would be easier or cheaper. So just know that this is not a wooden kit. Other than that, it is quite beautiful when finished. I would have changed the direction of the stair case so that it could be seen; I covered it with red felt so its a pity it cannot be seen. I used a lighting system from an old dismantled kit because light is essential in book nooks. I sent a mail to the company but they did not reply. The company should place a sticker on the word "wood" on the package and make it very clear in the headline on the Amazon site that it is made of board.

To start with I do these with my husband and we have made over 6 book nooks like this and all have turned out great!The design for this one is beautiful and the staircase is fun and unique.That is as good at it gets. The instructions are poorly written/translated and it was difficult to assemble. Some pieces didn’t even line up! Also, some instructions would say one thing but the picture would show something different. Even though this is a great design it is poorly made, not sturdy and a constant headache! After numerous attempts of trying to make this I resulted in getting rid of it. A nice fire to clear the mind of the headache, stress and frustration this horrible product caused! DO NOT GET THIS!
