This dust collection sub-base turns the Colt 1-HP Trim Router (PR20EVS and PR10E) into a joy to use instead of a chore of cleaning up after it. The oem fixed base does not have any off the shelf dust collection fittings for above and below the sub-base until now! The dust collection fittings are compatible with the Bosch VAC005 and Festool D27 (27mm) hose coupling.

It accidentally dropped to the floor 32 inches and shattered. Most tools and components are main to take more than one fall. At the high price they charge. It’s hard to believe so little abuse could cause so much damage to this component..

This product works well, although not perfect, the difference in using it, saves so much clean up.
