You need to remove the wheels first, then lift the car while supporting it on the jack stand. Also wear protective glasses and gloves.
- Release the ball joint
- Remove the rocker link
- Remove the control mounting bolts
- Remove the lower control arm
- Replace the bushing
- Make sure the new bushing is fully installed and reinstall it back into the control arm

I bought these expecting them to be the urethane type or "rubber like" bushings. I didn't want to use the hard plastic ones that quickly break like last time. They came in and are hard plastic like the rest. I used them anyway, they weren't tight fitting just enough free movement for the pins to destroy them like last time.same ol' cheap junk, I was going to spend the extra and buy from Polaris until I saw the misleading rubber like in the title of the listing.This will be the last time I throw money away trying to save a buck.

These bushings fit perfectly. I may have purchased the wrong kit, but it worked out well. I had several short bushings left over and had to use the original metal spacers, but all in all, this kit wired out well.2000 sportsman 500 4x4.
