These are short cords, no fault in that but wish it was stated.The big problem is the handles are nothing like what is pictured, the ones I received are open, no cover as pictured and have no raised area for added grip.The plastic also looks very cheap!The cords as I stated are short but otherwise seem sturdy.Based on the handles, I don't feel I can safely use these.Would not order again!

The pull cord worked perfectly for the recoil on my pressure washer. The nylon rope was easy to thread through the holes and knot at each end.There are a few install strategies that you need to adhere to when installing:1) After winding your coil all the way until it is unable to go any farther, then carefully go back one rotation until the holes in the grill and recoil line up.2) Insert a flat screwdriver through the grills to secure it in place.3) After that, thread the cord through the openings, and knot it.4) Carefully remove the screwdriver, retract it slowly until the handle is resting on the grill plate.- (There should not be any sag between the handle and grill, if there is then redo).5) Before installing pull the handle a few times to make sure the coil is taunt.The method above will work for any recoil pull start device.
