I had high hopes for the Gear Beast Rugged Lanyard Phone Holder, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The lanyard is thick and bulky, which causes it to obstruct the camera lens, making it difficult to take pictures without removing the holder.It also covers part of the screen on the front, which limits the phone's usability. The overall feel was clumsy in my hand, and it just didn’t seem practical for everyday use. A flat, adjustable strap that doesn’t interfere with the lens or screen would make this much more user-friendly. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience.

I purchased two of these and have one to my daughter. We use them while skiing and attach to an inside zipper pull in a zip pocket. I have an I phone 15 with a bigger case and the bungee will stretch to hold the phone securely on all four corners. Eliminates the risk of dropping on the lift or on a run. Well made!

It serves its purpose, which I love but it does cover the camera. I’ll use it when I travel and want my phone a bit more secured.

Once this was easily slipped on my phone, I could swing it in circles without worrying. Very secure. It does block the camera a little bit because I have 3 lenses - easily remedied by sliding it a bit. I bought it to prevent pick-pocketing while traveling but I will also use it on the farm where my phone tends to disappear too often!

This phone leash gave me a lot of peace of mind on a recent boat trip. I knew I'd be taking my phone in and out of my pocket a lot, and didn't want to risk dropping it in the ocean. The leash proved sturdy and easy to use.My only reason for the 4 stars is that it took some finagling to get the straps at one corner to not block my camera. I'm using a Galaxy Note 10+, and at first the corner straps would move and cut off the side of images. I fortunately tested this and made adjustments before my trip, or I might have missed shots. I have a phone case with decent traction to it, but on a smoother case the straps might not have been easy to keep out of the way.

I don't like having to wear my phone.But, since I am unable to keep track of it I have to give in to wear it on a leash.Listen, you can't go wrong with something well made.So, I consider the followingThis is quiet, yes quiet. You wont be the person everyone can hear coming down the hall like dangling keys.Quality Material seems durable . Only time will tell , of course. I cant yet vouch for this yet, but I can tell you that it doesn't look cheap it looks durable and strong.Length, is just right for a person who doesnt need to be stretching more than an arms length . The leash dangles about a foot from the caribenear without stretching , this is with the weight of the phone. The bungy dangles strong, the rubber that hugs the phone is non slip & it feels thick & strong like tire material.FUNtionality, FUNKtionality, and Functional .This is the most important right?It's only fair that you know I dislike bulky things.This is not bulky, neither is your phone, it perhaps that bUlKY case you dress your phone with.Gives my phone to be protected by the rubber harness , the clip is simple not heavy.This product is for those who need or want to keep their phone on a short leash.If you are 6.5 or taller you probably find this one too short .

I haven't had a chance to really put this to use yet, but I did try it on my phone, and it was easy to put on over my phone case yet grippy to where I'm sure it won't just fall off, it does not block any of the buttons or camera on my Galaxy 8+, although I might have to take it off to charge it, the cord is long enough to use the phone without being too long as to catch on things, and the carabiner clip is a nice size. I got this for a trip I am taking alone so I can attach my phone to my crossbody bag and not have to worry about dropping it or laying it down somewhere and forgetting it. The black color blends nicely with my bag and it looks like it belongs there. I'm very pleased with this purchase as it is exactly what I had hoped it would be.
