I have only had frozen waffles at home. I saw this and ordered it. Full transparency it took a long time before I used it. So I was bored with my usual home cooked meals and decided that I would cook something that I would normally only eat out at a restaurant. My choice was chicken and waffles. The waffle iron heats up quickly and I was careful to not overfill the bottom plate with the batter I closed it and waited for the indicator light alerting to remove the cooked waffles. They were perfectly browned and were the right size. After eating it was an easy clean up and stored back in the cabinet. No more extra work than pancakes.

Used for the first time last night and was impressed with the ease of use and clean up after, didn’t use any oil or spray - put cheese and shredded chicken directly on and it came out perfect!

I recently ordered the Samoris Electric Belgian Waffle Maker, and I'm happy with how it performs. The non-stick removable plates make it easy to clean-up after use. The waffles come out with a nice golden color, crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside.The LED indicator lights are very helpful; they clearly signal when the machine is ready and when your waffles are done, minimizing any guesswork. The cool touch handle adds an extra layer of safety.The size is perfect for making two waffles at once. It's straightforward to use and heats up quickly, which means less waiting time and more enjoying time.Overall, this waffle maker has encouraged me to make waffles more often at home due to its ease of use and excellent results.

Waffles came out ok,, our old waffle maker was much faster on cook time.. have not tried cooking anything else yet.

Cooks very good. BUT. If you put to much batter in there it will overflow the sides and inside as well. It then will be very hard to clean. I just need more time using it to get the perfect amount of batter in it.

This is a great waffle maker for those with limited storage space, and you don't need to make too many waffles at a time. It's very compact and can be stored upright, but it's small surface area means only two waffles can be made at once. One issue, the title at the time I bought it was "Samoris Electric Belgian Waffle Maker Iron" and based on my understanding, Belgian waffles are very deep and thick have large holes, compared to regular waffles. This is not a Belgian waffle maker, but a pretty normal sized waffle maker (see one of my photos comparing the Belgian waffle maker we already owned to this one -- the Samoris waffles are on the left).It also has no settings, and no alarm beep when your waffle is ready, so you have to watch the lights, or figure out the level of browning that you want.The irons easily come off for cleaning, but nowhere in the manual does it say they're safe to clean in a dishwasher. I'll clean by hand, since they have a non-stick surface which might not be dishwasher compatible.We made a batch today, along with our larger round Belgian waffle maker (bigger waffle, deeper holes in ours -- see the photo). I found our old waffle iron could make crisper waffles. The ones the Samoris iron made were soft, and we had to pop them into the toaster to get any crisp on them.With some fiddling, I think they can do an ok job (maybe we need to keep the waffles in the iron for a longer time), but it will speed up our waffle making time using two irons instead of one.I do miss the beep, though! You have to keep your attention on the iron to know when to open it.Pros:* compact storage* lightweight, good for travel* irons pop out for easy cleaningCons:* no sound letting you know they're done* no adjustments or on/off switch* small waffles* not really a Belgian waffle maker, but a normal (and small) waffle maker
