What is an SD Card?
The SD Card is a highly secure stamp-sized flash memory card. Jointly developed by Matsushita Electronic (best known for its Panasonic brand name products), SanDisk and Toshiba, the SD Card weighs approximately two grams. The SD Card can be used in a variety of digital products; digital music players, cellular phones, handheld PCs (HPCs), digital cameras, digital video camcorders, smart phones, car navigation systems and electronic books.

Doesn’t work. I use it for my trial camera and it doesn’t read. Wouldn’t recommend buying it.

This is probably my bad, but I ordered this thinking it would hold a lot more video only to learn that it is not gigabytes. It is megabytes and doesn’t hold any video at all.

SanDisk is a trusted brand for memory card that I needed for digital camera back in 2004 when I ordered this item.Yes, that's right, it's been 12 years since I have this product. I am just getting around to writing an Amazon review for this product which still works great in my Casio slim digital camera.I don't buy cheap brand/stuff when it comes to technology items which will store my pictures or important data. Pictures are your memories which you don't want to disappear when you want to look at those pictures. I do research for the best price and back in 2004 this item on Amazon was the best price.SanDisk is the ONLY brand that I buy for SD memory card!

I purchased this high capacity digital memory card for an overseas trip where I knew I would be taking hundreds, if not thousands, of photos. It wasn't the cheapest of the options, but I trust SanDisk for digital storage and wanted to make sure it was a quality card that didn't give out on me while I was traveling. I bought a different brand with less storage capacity that was cheaper for a backup. Happily, this SanDisk memory card worked great to store the photos I took with my digital camera, and I had no problems with it. No lost photos, or anything like that. I didn't even end up needing the backup card. SanDisk is a top quality digital memory company, and I will continue to trust SanDisk storage products.

just what i required for my camera it was quick service came the following day after ordering it can't fault the servicecan now take loads of photographs now without changing the card as this was the right price for the memoryas some with 512mb are to costley

I got this for an elderly friend with a digital camera which needed a full sized SD card. SanDisk is a good make and the card works as advertised.

I ordered a Sandisk 512MB memory card for my camera, thinking it would be exactly what I have now. When it was delivered to me it did not look like my old memory card or the picture that was advertised. It works fine but the label in the memory card says Wii. Need to change the advertisement picture for Sandisk Camera memory card.

I've rewritten this card maybe a 100 times, and they work fine. It erases fast with my Nikon, and while the write speed seems a bit slow, I've had no card failure as with a CF card of this brand. I am not sure whether the card reader or the card causes failures to mount on my desktop, I have a $10 SD reader. I have to insert the card sometimes several times before the image appears on my computer screen.I liked the CF cards for solidness and durability, SD seems a bit flimsy. But they have huge capacity, and I can carry enough for a few days shoot in my tiny camera pack. I have four 1 GB cards, too, and they all work great!
