The nutcracker itself it cute but pretty basic. Not really worth $58 IMHO. HOWEVER, the box looked like someone had sat on it and then rolled around on it. Rather than open the top, someone had slashed the entire side with a gyp knife. The nutcracker itself was backwards in the box, so obviously it had been opened even though the sticker on it said "New". I had to tape the whole box back together so I could wrap it. I would have returned it but it is a Christmas gift and there are no more left anyway. Never again.

This was a gift for my son, so I don’t have it for a picture!! It had numerous nicks/chips in the paint, that we weren’t happy with! He will try to touch them up with paint.

Poor craftman ship. There was excessive glue in the joints, air as well as dirty finger prints on the wood.
