My dogs love these chew sticks and they seem to help keep their teeth somewhat clean.

Keeps the dogs busy for a bit. They chew them really well like chewing gum. Pretty funny to watch. Some people don't like rawhide. We have to pick up our dogs droppings because of where we live. Never seen an issue.

My dog loves them! Ate 3-4 today. They are small but last a few minutes. If she gets restless, I break one out and she bugs off and has a relaxing chew. Recommend! 2 pounds for a reasonable price.

I read the product reviews before purchasing this item to substitute for the normal rawhide chews I purchase which were not available. There were some good reviews and some bad reviews but after receiving these and giving them to my dog (pit bull) I would not recommend them. They are thin, glassy looking (like amber) and make my dog gag. Nothing like regular rawhide that I would compare to dried leather strips, these looked more like Jolly Ranchers that had been melted and stretched.

I've purchased these more times than I can count and now have them on my Amazon Subscribe and Save. Both my dogs absolutely love them and are extremely well behaved when they know I'm holding one. My dogs are both 70 lb German Shepherd mixes so they don't last long, but a lot longer than other treats. It also gives them something to chew on if they're anxious when first loaded int eh car or while crated when lots of people are over and they calm right down. I've never had an issue and recommend them.

We have been going through a bag of these about every 3 months for several years - the beagle gets an average of one a day (sometimes he cons one of us to give him one when he's already had one...) and he chews through it *completely* each time. He is a heavy chewer, but these are the only chewing thing he really LOVES. He was bored by Nylabones, doesn't like the "white" rawhide in any form (he abandons it when it gets a little mushy), and destroys Kongs (even the black ones that are for heavy chewers). He used to rip stuffed toys to bits, too, but these satisfy his need to chew and don't leave a mess. He had an obstruction (and emergency surgery) from chewing up (eating, really) a towel 7 years ago, but consuming one of these rawhides daily hasn't led to any issues.

Exactly what I've been looking for. For some reason pressed, natural rawhide twists are becoming harder and harder to find in bulk. I give one or two of these to my year and a half year old pit mix daily as her "after dinner bones." I guess I got the idea from my parents because that was the routine for my childhood pets too. Much cheaper than the brand sold in national pet stores. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the overall consistency of the twists. I've ordered these numerous times now and there's always a few ridiculously skinny ones in every bag that, in my opinion, should've been thrown out in the quality control process. However, all in all they are a great deal and my pup loves 'em! I will say the price has been steadily creeping up since the first time I purchased - keep the price low, Amazon!EDIT - As of March 2017 I have had to find these elsewhere. Now that they are only available through third party sellers vs. Amazon the price has gone up to over $20. When I first purchased these (Sept. 2016) they were 12.99. Good product, but I can't bring myself to pay that price.
