This unfortunately fits very baggy for me and not in a flattering way, the sleeves are beautiful but the middle elastic doesn't fit as tightly as advertised and the proportions of the sections seem off, maybe it can fit someone else better but not for me.

I've been a fan of Scarlett Darkness items for years. I feel they are always good quality and fit true to size. This one the elastic around the waist sits higher than pictured. I felt I needed to pull it down to off the shoulder to have it sit lower. The sleeves are fun, and it is very comfortable to wear. Great for costumes but could also be worn with jeans or a skirt. Reasonably priced.

This is a pretty cute shirt! I was surprised how light it feels for having long bishop sleeves. It holds a lot of wrinkles, so I suggest putting it in the dryer or steam ironing it before wearing, and hanging it up immediately after washing and drying. All around, though, a cute shirt!

This is a very beautiful shirt, very soft & flowy & perfect for ren faire or date night & everything in between. I ordered the wine color & it is a very deep red that pairs well with a variety of outfits. My favorite combo is a skirt & corset belt but it is pretty enough to wear without a corset/belt/top, especially with the long, billowy sleeves. I currently wear a size 14-16 & ordered the XXL because my weight tends to fluctuate & this gives me a little wiggle room, it's a tad baggy but that is what I was going for. Overall it's another great Scarlet Darkness shirt & I would highly recommend it.

This is no costume quality blouse this is very well made and as the type of blouse, it runs true to size. The material feels and looks beautiful, and the simplicity gives opportunity to style and create an individual look. A wide belt giving boho to a corset that can vibe with Victorian or even goth depending on color and creativity. The opportunist will embrace this blouse as a true garment staple in her closet. I have had sleeves as these get in the way at times however a simple bracelet or band on the upper arm can address the length to accommodate more freedom of movement without altering the garment.

I got this in a medium. The fit is a little baggy through the torso. The elastic seam for the waist is not form fitting and sits at an awkward location in between my waist and bust that is not flattering for my figure; it’s too high above my natural waistline, and too far below my bustline. I’m 5’6” and have an average-to-long torso.I would recommend purchasing with caution if you do not intend to style it with a belt or corset of some sort due to the baggy fit and location of the waist/seam. With a belt or corset it should be fine.It’s lined and the material is a nicer quality than similar costumey peasant tops I’ve worn.The polyester blend makes the material a little shiny.The stitching feels and looks well done and should hold up well to washing.

I got this Renaissance shirt in beige, size medium. I'm usually a medium to large in US women's clothing, and this shirt fit well. The stretch elastic at the waist and top edge make it easy to put on and comfortable to wear. This can be worn off the shoulder as advertised, or it can be pulled up on top of the shoulders like a regular blouse (but that tends to pull the waist up a little higher, too, fyi). My only complaint is that the arm holes seem a little big, cut several inches below the actual armpit, and I think it makes it look a bit unnecessarily frumpy when your arms are raised, but that's a minor thing, and it does give lots of comfy room to move. I like the beige color and that the outer fabric is a rayon which tends to be silky and breathable. The lining is polyester, which is not as breathable, but feels soft and is solid enough to make the shirt opaque. Only the shirt body is lined, the sleeves are not, and they have a sheer quality that's really nice when they catch the light.
