Works well. I mean, come on. It's brand name scotch painters tape. Has just the right amount of thickness and stickyness and comes off relatively easily. Just make sure you remove while the paint is still wet.

This is the best painter's tape available, noting that it applies easily, provides a nice line, and doesn't bind up. It works well on various surfaces, including walls, brick, and concrete, and removes easily without leaving residue.

I'm not a professional painter. In fact, I hate painting (especially the prep and cleanup), but painting is expensive and I'm cheap so I tend to DIY it, and have done more painting than I'd like to admit. I've painted with and without using painters tape and/or masking. I've also used a lot of different tapes, from the cheapest available at the paint store, to the highly marketed brands with catchy names, and can tell you there is a difference. This particular painters tape is high quality and from a trusted brand. This tape is strong, but still easy to tear by hand. It's easy to use as it will peel back and re-adhere easily (in case you get off your line. It adheres to a variety of surfaces (indoor and out), but peels away clean leaving clean lines without allowing paint to bleed through or under.I know first hand how expensive paint projects can be, and it's very tempting to cut corners by not masking or using cut rate products. Learn from my mistakes, taking the time to properly prep, and spending a few extra dollars here and there on quality materials can go a long way to yielding professional quality results.

This painter's tape is good quality. It doesn't shred or tear easily when you're trying to remove it which I like. It is really annoying when a cheap tape shreds apart on removal and leaves little pieces behind that you have to pick off. The adhesive on this is good and it seems to offer a crisp line with no bleeding. I also like that is good for indoor and outdoor use and leaves no residual adhesive behind. This tape is a bit pricey though, but you pay more for the quality so I think the value is still there.

Bought this tape thinking that it was going to be your typical painter's tape, but was pleasantly surprised how well it stuck to the wall without tearing the paint! Love this specific width of tape for narrow areas on the wall.

For me, the most important quality in painter's tape is that it pulls away easily with no residue, and also doesn't pull of any of the dry paint underneath. I cannot comment on the second quality, because my painting project is outdoors and I'm waiting for drier weather. But as for the first quality, I can comment. I was packing up some china for transport, and I've found that breakage is much less likely if I'm able to not only put padding in between pieces, but to tape them all together so that they cannot shift in transit. I used this tape rather than packing tape, because I knew packing tape would be irritating to remove. This tape secured the china pieces nicely - it was easy to tear and stick AND when it was time to unpack, it removed easily without leaving behind residue or stickiness. So this is the sort of tape to use if you need a strong yet temporary bond that is still gentle on the underlying surface. I'm very satisfied with the performance of this tape and I'm confident that it will perform well when I eventually get to painting my outdoor trim this summer.
