After 5hrs of run time it completely disintegrated. Now I have to completely pull apart the heat exchanger and try to clean out all of the rubber..Absolutely garbage DO NOT BUY!!!

I’ve used two of these now- the first one lasted 50 hours without a problem. I removed the second this month after 110 engine hours. I was surprised to see 3 missing vanes and 2 more cracked ones. What a hassle to take apart the heat exchanger to retrieve the broken vanes. I would have expected a longer life. I’ll be using Yanmar OEM in the future considering how crucial a reliable impeller is!

OK, we've had our boat for 20 years now, and while we sometimes don't change our impeller often enough, we've never had an impeller actually disintegrate, even after several years of our neglect. This impeller, after ONE YEAR, had only 5 or 11 blades left attached - the rest were either jammed around it or up the pipe. This is totally unacceptable - from now on, we're buying nothing but factory Yanmar impellers (even thought we can't get them on Amazon).

This impeller was an easy install (once I got the old one out) and works great. It has more blades than the original Yanmar impeller but otherwise the other dimensions are the same as the original yanmar impeller. It is installed in my sailboat that has a Yanmar 4JHTE engine.

I did not installed them yet, so I can not yet comment about durability but they appear well made and is very useful that they come with O-ring so don't need to buy that separately

Fins broke off in one season. (Yes, the seacock was open at all times.) Buy a genuine Yanmar part.

Impeller and rings are great. Will be convenient, if some white lithium grease or any other lubricant will be added to the package.
