The LCD screen has a power rail along the bottom that is too large to fit inside the screen area of the laptop. The rail hits the screen hinges and folds in on itself. The screen bezel also doesn't fit correctly because of the rail being in the way. I'm not sure if the wrong part was shipped but I ordered from Amazon expecting a quick turnaround. I'll be ordering from another seller now.

Upon first impressions, the screen seemed reasonable. It was wrapped in bubble wrap, packaged nicely, everything was included to install.Installation was a breeze, and it turned on with no problem. Looking for dead pixels however, it appears that the backlight was peering through when the screen was black. Not backlight bleed, but quite literally you could see the backlight (see last photo).After contacting the manufacturer, I was told to go through Amazon. After ordering a replacement, when it arrived, the packaging was just unacceptable. Instead of bubble wrapped, it arrived in a plastic bag, the corner appeared to be hit, and the connector was bent and almost broken off. Surprisingly, however, it turned on and the screen was without defect.EDIT: A few days later the screen no longer works, I give up.

Screen came in as advertised. Protected by bubble wrap and double boxed. Film over the screen and included tools and double-sided tape for this replacement.The tools included are simple but adequately utilized. The removal of the old screen is probably easiest with a knife, just be careful not to bend the metal framework in the back of the screen.The replacement screen is gorgeous. Beautifully bright, possibly even a little bit brighter than the old one, and works perfectly. Great job.
