Safety mirrors are used to help increase visibility in a variety of locations; for example, in hallway intersections and sharp turns, and in driveways and loading docks where drivers have to back up or enter traffic. Safety mirrors are sometimes called security mirrors, and they can be used to extend the view of security personnel, or to help monitor factory workers and automated processes to improve quality control and productivity. For convex mirrors, objects will appear to be further away than they are, and will be easier to see in a larger mirror. Depending on visibility conditions and the viewer's eyesight, objects will usually be recognizable within about 1 ft. of distance (including distance from eye to mirror, and from mirror to object) for each inch in mirror diameter.

See All Industries manufactures safety and security mirrors. The company, founded in 1958, is headquartered in Chicago, IL.

Really liked the mirror. It worked well for what we needed it for. But it did not hold up overtime after 3 1/2 years we found it laying on the ground. Apparently it has a cardboard backing underneath with a thin cloth like material covering it. The shame is the mirror part still looks really good, but the back fell apart.

This is a great mayor for our private road. It helps on our blind corner to see oncoming traffic.

I live on a hill after a curve and it's tricky to get out of the driveway with cars coming fast down the hill and cars coming up past the blind curve. This mirror gives me and my wife a lot of confidence in getting out of our driveway everyday. With just a bit of handyman experience I could easily mounted it on my fence, and it has been holding up quite well. On cold mornings, I need to wipe the condensation off of it, but that doesn't happen too often where I live, in North California. Overall, I'm very happen with it.

Arrived on time. Packaged well. Works well for my application.Only one issue. Each mounting post pivot ball is held to the mirror by a plate and three small screws. The instructions say to tighten those screws after final adjustment is made. The hole for one of those small screws was stripped. It doesn't affect the function of the mirror but it is a quality control failure.

This is great. It was just what we needed to be able to safely pull out of our driveway. No more putting down the window and trying to listen to figure out if someone is going to come flying around the blind corner! We chose the 26 inch one and I'm glad we didn't get one any smaller for our situation. The included hardware made it easy to install (it took all of five minutes) and it has stayed exactly in place since we put it up without needing any kind of adjustment. I guess it's been up for a couple of months and it still looks like new. I would definitely get this again.

Would recommend to others we have a steep driveway that created difficulties of seeing from our left side if traffic was approaching as we drive to the top of driveway. But not we look in the mirror and are able to clearly see if cars are approaching. Wonderful quality! Would recommend it to others and would buy again if needed.

We got this because our driveway exit is blind due to the neighbor's stone entrance. Put it across the street to see oncoming traffic. I'd rather it were a little less convex because everything is so small even on the huge mirror, and it fogs up. I can see headlights from very far away, but if the driver doesn't have them on, the mirror doesn't really help.

We live in a rural area and actually share our driveway with two other families.Hubby purchased this mirror after a neighbor complained that all of our flowering trees lining the driveway would have to be cut down so that she could see around the curve. Well, we've been here the longest, put in the driveway, and planted the trees before we ever imagined anybody else would be using our driveway. We had no intention of chopping down our gorgeous trees!Prime Delivery was super fast. The mirror appears to be sturdy and capable of withstanding the elements. It was quite easy to install to a wooden post my hubby erected for the purpose. The mirror allows you to see around the bend to be sure if a car is coming down the driveway while you're coming up the driveway, and vice versa. The neighbor hasn't complained once!
