I ordered these medallions to work with a chandelier I ordered through amazon with a too small canopy. The 4" hole cut for the electrical shows so I wanted to hide it with a small modern medallion. I used one and it works very well to hide what the canopy should cover and doesn't distract from the chandelier which is a black metal. I am happy not to have to paint it. The sticky back makes installation very easy. I was able to apply one and then the other to make sure they lined up well. I only had to cut out the middle a little with a utility knife.

Wonderful detail, very pretty. You’ll never know they aren’t wood until you touch them. Unfortunately I ordered a size too small. Great deal. Will reorder correct size

These are very lightweight, painted black, and cut in half for easy installation without unwiring the light fixture. These are sized correctly, so they won’t cover excessively large holes. They can glue and/or nail in place, though the light fixture canopy does most of the work. Most entry price medallions are white, so it was great to skip the painting step. The mat black matches the canopy color nicely and looks like it’s part of the light fixture. Easy to install and looks great. I like having the second set on hand for the next light upgrade.

Made out of foam and terrible to try and install…black easily marks up they break like cardboard.
