Detecting Pump Failure through High Level Detection
In any case that there is a problem in the sump - there is one common result - the water level rises above the pump. Level Sense uses a custom designed bracket which detects the water level if it comes over the pump. Other systems use a teathered float switch which has a potential to get caught on the pump or the walls of the sump. The mounting method keeps this magnetic detection device clear and unobstructive of the operation of the sump. Notifications are sent out immediately upon high water detection to contacts of your choosing. There are unlimited email and text notification destinations.
Detect Water Leaks or Pump Overflow
After high water is detected in the sump, there is still time to respond. A second sensor is positioned at the top of the sump which provides notifications if water should ever come to the lid of the sump. This sensor also triggers notifications immediately.
iOs & Android Apps
Devices and Sensors can be set-up on the level-sense.com website or through mobile apps available for both Android and iOs. Your email and password will sync across devices, apps, and website for Single Sign On capabitity.
Lost Power Notifications
Level-Sense's Server Side Battery Back-Up means that if your device goes offline due to power or internet loss you will receive a notification.
Magnetic Mount
Level Sense Sentry has internal magnets for quick mounting to metal surfaces in utility rooms .
Pipe Mount
Sentry can be pipe mounted using the internal cable ties and anchors that are shipped with the unit.
Wall Mount
Level Sense Sentry can be wall mounted with included screws onto any wood surface.
Everything is Included
Sentry comes with an AC wall mount power supply, head unit, removable terminal block, a float switch, mounting bracket, cable ties, screws, pipe mount anchors, embedded magnets and a removable terminal block for easy wiring.

Well this has required alot of guesswork on my part to get going. Instructions are scattered, not easy to follow, and printed so small you just want to give up. I got it installed but connectivity is really an issue. Contact with support is leave a message so there’s that. I’m gonna be pissed if I’ve wasted money and time on this. Another attempt to contact support today will tell the tale.

I'm super disappointed, I was upgrading from an old school alarm, this one I was able to set up okay and it appears like it should work but unfortunately it indicates that the level has tripped, when it has not.The old school alarm box works great, I suspect the problem is that there is a very small amount of leakage current across the level switch and the old school box ignores it and works perfectly but this version somehow sees the small leakage and assumes that the switch is closed, I'm going to have to put this one on the shelf.

Kinda fiddley to get net connected. The instructions are too small to read without magnification. A pdf of them on the website would be helpful. Could not get the my account set up and called and issues were quickly rectified. I'll recommend it to my neighbors...

We have a smart home network, Eero, which has a higher level of network security, no WPS. The alarm was not able to connect to our home internet with any of the available methods. Read their manual front to back, didn't help. Waste of money.

I will reserve full judgement until it has been installed for a while but I had only a few moments of issues getting my account set up and then the device connected.Ran some trials and it will notify me if power is out or if the sump level gets to my danger zone.If it makes it 3 years I will give it 5 stars!

I'm rating this 4 stars overall because as a cost-effective sump monitor, it hits the sweet spot. That is, once you get past the installation.The instructions have clearly been translated from a non-English language and the pictures/explanations are very, very bad. That being said, you can probably get through this with a few helpful tips:- The red wire always goes on the OUTSIDE. White is common and goes in the middle. The picture shows 2 gray wires (LOL). Nothing was labeled, but that's how it worked.- When you mount the level switch, pay close attention to the shape of the bracket, the orientation of the switch, and try to match the diagram with your setup as closely as possible.- The SSID issue of characters not being recognized has been solved, so ignore those reviews here.- The lights will all turn BLUE when you match your device, so don't try to use that as a claim code (I did, LOL...doesn't work)- Download the app before you start (QR code on the instructions)- Setup your account FIRST and then use the email when matching the device (saves you having to do their weird claim code thing)- You'll try to "connect" to the device as if it's a Wifi router. Look for their Level_Source_whatever SSID on your mobile phone when setting it up.- Follow their directions on the mobile phone once you connect (they're actually better than the written ones). Be sure to write the "after" steps down because once you connect to their SSID and add your own Wifi network/password, the instructions will go away (LOL)- Be sure to enter your email address at the bottom during connection to auto-pair the device to your mobile app.- The instructions are very weird. Read through them like 4 times before you even start. They start to make some sense, but it takes a few reads. And hopefully, the bits I provide here will help you decode it a bit more.Their alarm isn't the loudest, but it's enough to get the job done. And the notifications worked fine once I got everything else setup.

Unit installed and working well, doing exactly as described and needed. 4 weeks later, unit alarm went off and troubleshooting indicates a defective float switch, Looking to contact seller about a replacement but this process is not one that Amazon makes easy. So trying this route. Please advise what is needed for a warranty float replacement to be sent out

Product was a bit difficult to install (the wifi part) but technical support was amazing. The Hardware hook-up was really quick but I will say the written instructions were poor. The youtube video was a bit better but I needed a live person (thanks Scott!). So far both "sensors" are working and the unit is sending data to the app I will only know the rest if my sump pump fails.

Get false triggers on cold damp days. Have not figured out why yet. But great alerts system. Unplugged it because of the false triggers and gets alert for it being offline. Once I figure out the false triggers I would rate this product as excellent

I love this product! Instead of the probes that keep going off for no reason every few months this actually uses a float censor. My husband said it was very easy to install and had 1 little hiccup. He had to redo it and on the app it wouldn't recognize the device anymore so he contacted tech support and went to bed and when he woke up tech support had already replied and fixed the issue! That is how tech support/customer service should be. If I could give this 10 stars I would!

I dry tested the water alarm with my wifi connection first and it worked perfectly. It takes a moment to respond to the float switch, but it sent both a text and an email within a minute of the switch being activated, as well as sounding an alert tone on the device itself. I then installed it in my sump pump letting the water rise up, and again it alerted me via text and email. The alert tone is not very loud and I doubt I would hear it in the house with the air conditioning or furnace running. But the critical notification for me is a text. This is a great device to help stop water damage in the basement before it happens. It has been installed for a couple of days, and I’ll monitor it over time to see how it lasts. I’m very happy with this alert system now, especially knowing when I’m away, I’ll be notified of an issue. I don’t need to depend on hearing an older battery operated sounder only if and when I‘m home.

Its a simple install. Comes with everything you need to complete it. Linking it to app was easy, just follow the instructions provided. Dry tested and wet tested and it works great. The audible alarm isn't super loud but can be heard on two floors of our house. The cell alert can be sent to multiple people via text and/or emails.
