This product is surprisingly well made and exactly as pictured. At 11mm thick and 47in long, it is quite a large prusik. It would be more suitable for 13-16mm ropes and large connectors. The rope is softer and more flexible than I expected and very easy to tie as a prusik. The rubber covers over the stitching can be cumbersome and bulky while tying and if you are using it with some carabiners. The rope seems to be a dynamic one and I am considering using it as a short, positioning leash also. There are no certifications, on the webpage or on the rope. Caveat emptor.

This is a great quality prusik. It's not too slippery and not too grippy. So far it's holding up well to moderate use. The sewn end is well done. I have no problems trusting this cord. Nice job.

This prusik loop is soft and flexible. Even though it is a little thick, the flexibility still permits it to grip a standard 12mm climbing rope.

Although the sewn loop seems to be good quality and is advertised as suitable for climbing, there isn't enough information provided to make me feel comfortable using it for that purpose. Instead, I'll likely use it for general purpose rigging around the ol' homestead in situations where it won't be supporting my weight while off the ground. I give it 4 stars.

This review is for "Sewn Prusik Loops Rope 11.5mm for Outdoor Climbing Arborist Mountaineering Rope, Firefighting,Tree Gear, Rigging, and Rescue Gear (25In)", Yyiwhmy Item model number JY-25AQS (ASIN B0DXKWNN9S). Title and ASIN are included in the review because sometimes reviews get re-sorted and are no longer associated with the correct product. The Yyiwhmy Double Rope Prusik shipped quickly and was packaged reasonably in a padded envelope along with another item. Within the padded shipping envelope, the prusik arrived retail packaged in a small brown cardboard box.The Yyiwhmy Double Rope Prusik seems well made, is fairly large, and is flexible. It's easy to tie. I picked up the "Single Rope" variant which has the two ends sewn together. I'll be using this prusik for climbing/tree work.

This is a nice strong loop of rope. I put a heavy duty carabiner on the small end so I can easily attach it anything. I've used it for a tie down, a dog leash, and an exercise toy (I loop it around a small kettlebell so I can exercise with it like a chain mace). There may be other uses yet to come.

This is nice piece of 11.5mm rope well-sewn. I can think of many useful ways to use this but a prusik knot is not on the list. This large diameter rope is much too stiff for a good prusik. As a mountaineer you are typically using 9 to 11mm kernmantle rope for belaying or rope ascending. A proper prusik rope should be smaller diameter around 7 to 9mm in diameter. The rope should be pliable so it easily grabs the larger rope and holds firmly. This product is just too stiff and is unlikely to grab the rope when you add weight to it. This is just the wrong kind of rope and it's much too large diameter to be effective even if you were to tie a prusik knot correctly.
