Was not the shadow box that was advertised. The shadowbox that came does not have the black backing which was the entire reason I bought it in the first place. The clasp is also really cheap and bends out of place. It's a struggle to close it. I'm really disappointed in this purchase.

When you first take this out of the box it looks a little sad as its all wrapped in heat shrunk plastic to protect it.The front is covered in a polystyrene sheet which is something we dont like to see when a piece of card would do the job and be recyclable.After peeling the wrap and taking of the film from the polycarb clear front it looks really nice.Its a good size at 13" x 16" and can be wall hung or free stood.Its a good thing but priced too high. Would really need to be under £30 to be good value.In black, keep your duster handy!

I chose to use this shadow box to display some of my grandmothers' costume jewelry and photos. With the depth, it will accommodate many mementos. Pins are included, which was helpful, but I also purchased some that are "u" shaped to more easily hold the beads/necklaces in an oval shape as opposed to hanging straight down.The quality of this shadow box exceeded my expectations, and with the side latch, it is easy to add or remove items as you wish. This is a lovely item and would make a great gift!

Needed a shadowbox for our wedding souvenirs, and this looked to fit.(I wish I looked closer, the beaded edge isn't something we're entirely close to)Its got decent depth, the inside is also felted, and comes with multiple mounting pieces or the box and things inside.the rear mount has 2 mounts on both top corners (no stand and no center)but existing mounts are sturdy.the clasp is also nice and feels secure.

It's hard to find shadow boxes that are both deep enough, and decorative enough to match with the rest of my frames on my gallery walls. The raised detailing on this really helps, and a touch of antique gold rub and buff also helps to highlight that detailing a bit more and marry it to the rest of my frames.This shadow box depth is perfect for larger items, such as dried but unpressed flowers, and some of my more prized smaller pieces of Victorian ephemera from my collection. I really appreciate that this has a hinge closure, so should I choose to change up a display, I can access it with ease.The front is plexiglass, but very clear and not immediately noticeable as such. I feel like that helps to keep the shadow box light weight, and I have less fears of a piece coming down inside the box and breaking the glass.It's easy to mount items to the velvet backing, for some of my items I used U-pins to better secure them, although the provided pins were a very nice touch. The mounting hardware for the actual box itself was also greatly appreciated as wall anchors will help to keep this piece more secure on the wall long term. As I'm still fiddling with the overall display itself and deciding where I'll hang this, I haven't had the chance to test that hardware, and I may opt for a wire hanging placement instead with thick velvet ribbon covering the wire. The box is versatile enough that it will look great either way.For the size, depth and quality of this shadow box, the price is where I would expect it to be and reasonable for something this well made.

I opened the box and there’s a crack at the top of the shadow box. I’m not happy about it but I’ll live with it. I’m not ordering anymore.

I received this frame as part of Vine.This shadow box has a nice deep frame that is perfect for storing memories in! I’m putting in my friendship bracelets and mementos from concerts and it’s nice to be able to display it all in one place!
