I like the fact that you can adjust the texture but it is not consistency. I also have to stop adjust the knob a lot because the ice will keep spinning and no shavings will come out.

This is wicked cool to have at home! The kids love it they love that they can make their own snow cones lol it’s a really nice quality not cheaply made or anything at all. Not noisy a it works really well. It’s easy to use it they can do it all on their own and don’t need my help to do it at all. The weight of it is not too heavy either and it’s small so it can fit easily on the counter and doesn’t take up much space.

The machine was easy to setup and operate. We had couple of ice blocks in the freezer. We did not realize there was a third container inside the machine, until we started to use it. The hack we needed to do was to hold the knob from turning too fastand releasing the pressure from the ice. This enabled us to get fine shaved ice without too much work. The blades are easy to adjust and the complete system is easy to clean. The fact thats its usually just water also helps. The main thing to note is that the machine stops working after 10 mins of operation, this is expected as its mentioned in the manual but something to note incase you have more than a couple of kids waiting.

This machine comes with three containers that you can use to freeze ice blocks ahead of time and then shave. This is not exactly ideal, but it seems to work ok. It is not intended to use cubes you already have, so be aware of that. (I was able to sort of make ice I already had on hand work, but it was not easy.)Also, the containers have lids, but the lids do not fit snugly, making it a very frustrating experience trying to get the containers into my freezer without making a mess.

This shaved ice maker looks good. It has a good design and color, but be aware that it is fairly big, it takes a bit of space.It's relatively easy to use. After placing the ice and turning it on, the ice comes out well, making it perfect for making snow cones during family gatherings.It's a particularly interesting product that I had never used before, but up until now, I’m highly pleased with it.Overall, I find this shaved ice maker to be very convenient and haven't had any issues with it. I believe it is a good investment.

I'd probably give this shaved ice machine 4.5 stars, it's not perfect but it works. It's relatively easy to set up, my 10yo was able to do it herself. There's a little bit of a learning curve for how to use it, you have to constantly be turning the big front knob while pressing the power button. The directions tell you to have the blade at the finest (furthest) setting to start, but you do need to figure out where it even starts contacting the ice. The blade position (fine to coarse) doesn't seem to make a huge difference to me, it's all a similar texture. And when it's running it makes a pretty horrific noise.However, once you get it running, you can make a cup of shaved ice in literally seconds. It comes with three circular molds and each one makes 2-3 decent servings. The instructions don't specifically say whether you can use regular ice cubes. The machine is a little expensive, but it's so easy and the ongoing costs for ice and syrup are pretty minimal for a fun summer treat. It comes apart for storage so that it's not so tall; the two halves just kind of rest together, it's not super elegant but I appreciate the feature. I have fond memories of shaved ice and snow cones from my childhood and it's hard to find where I live now, so this is a nice little splurge for me.
