Fits perfectly and works beautifully on my Giant Defy race bike. Couldn’t find the original 3 speed chainring anywhere. So bought this one and pleased I did.The product description is wrong though. I thought I was buying the option without the outside chainguard. But it arrived with one on. But it was easy to remove.

I used this to replace the same thing that came OEM on my bike. Typical Shimano quality and installed as it was supposed to. Everything straight and sharp. Very nice. Though I'm not a huge fan of square taper BB's If I had to replace a square taper crankset, I'd get this again.

This did not appear to be an Acera as ambiguously advertised but an Altus. In fairness, seller was very responsive in return of the item.

Chain rings are not replaceable, so one day the entire crankset will need to be replaced again. Package included crank bolts and plastic chain guard, though the chain guard is optional.I changed the bottom bracket at the same time, using the Shimano recommended BB-UN300 with 122.5 spindle length. Great, well fitting combination.

I replaced my OEM crankset (Specialized) after the two largest rings showed substantial wear after 5900 miles. I also wanted to try a shorter crank. Installation was easy and the 5mm shorter crank compared to the OEM makes riding more efficient. This season I changed my lubrication to paraffin and kerosene (home made Speedwax) and I expect these rings to last much longer. Along with going to wax lube, I've replaced my chain, cassette and BB making my bike like new. But the key is wax lube whether home made or commercial. It's the best move I've made in cycling.
