Excellent vacuum. Versatile and easy to use and clean. Tool/attachments rack is flimsy and mostly in the way . Otherwise a great purchase. I have been using it for 7 years and it hasn’t let me down

This was a big waste of money for me.It arrived broken (the clips that attach the top to the tank were snapped in half). I understand that mistakes happen, and would normally be happy to simply exchange the product (or even attempt a repair myself with some Super Glue or JB Weld). But this indicates to me that the clips are made of cheap plastic. I expect this is probably a common point of failure. But the big problem with this vacuum is the diameter of the hose. It's INCREDIBLY narrow (maybe 1 or 1 1/2 inches), even more narrow than the hose on my upright vacuum. I opened the box, took one look at the hose and thought to myself, "that's going to clog constantly."But I decided to give it a shot anyway (duct taping the top to the tank, since the clips were broken). It was a huge mistake. What should have been a 5 minute job with a wet/dry vac that's ACTUALLY designed for a shop (i.e., a heavy duty environment), turned in to a messy, hour-long nightmare. I did spend about 5 minutes actually vacuuming... and another 55 minutes unclogging the hose repeatedly and cleaning up the mess from unclogging the hose.By comparison, after I returned this useless thing, I bought a RIGID wet/dry vac, with a hose diameter of about 2 inches. It had comparable suction, but didn't clog at all. The same job actually DID take 5 minutes. So bottom line, this Shop-Vac wet/dry vacuum might be good if you need it for very light work (i.e., cleaning out a car). But if you're looking for a heavy-duty vacuum for a shop environment, skip this and get something with a wider diameter hose.

This was advertised as quiet (for a shop vac). Not true, but works well and fits all the parts from my old shop-vac. I am satisfied with this purchase.

Good stuff, very strong suction and high capacity, the ability to switch to blowing is great for clearing dust off projects while woodworking etc

Worked good for 1yr-8mo. Motor burned up.Had great suction. Bags limit some capacity but I use it for fast and quick cleanup to avoid my commercial wet vac. Shop-vac must be having high rate of motor failure. They have a special claim and are offering a 2 year extended warranty on motors out of warranty.. I submitted a warranty claim but no response yet.

Got this for Christmas in 2018. Mostly because it was a pain to lug the central vac hose from my workshop in basement over to where my pellet stove is located -- to suck the ash out.I was instantly impressed by the massive suction power of this unit, far more powerful than even the central vac, the latter which is a lot more powerful than all upright vacuums. When it's sucking the Shop Vac is pretty loud, but that is the ONLY thing I don't like about it. Very nice, high quality unit.

It's a little bit more powerful than the lower end shop vac, and it's still easy to move around and store away between usages. I like it!

Difficult to assemble and not user friendly when using it. The attachment heads are cheap and not effective at picking up dirt. I wish I could return this product, it is very disappointing.

This is a great bargain for the power it brings. I didn't have any problems with the latches (as other commenters mentioned) as it now has handles just under the latches. Setup wasn't too hard, and it rolls/works great. The only thing i don't like is the cluttery feel of the attatchment holder. Once you put all the accessories onto it it's a little cluttery feeling and accessories sometimes fall off as you move it around. Also the hose itself doesn't have a good place to be wrapped/attached. I think i'll just keep the accessories separate most of the time. But beyond that the actual vacuum is very nice.

What a nice surprise to get a quality product at a great price. This little, not so little vacuum is just what I needed and wanted. Money saving price point and works like a charm. Was very easy to unpack and assemble. Its light and it rolls very smoothly across the solid uncluttered surfaces and areas. It's the perfect size for household and as well as large job commercial use; its a tough little vacuum. It was also very easy and inexpensive to find the replacement bags and filters. If you have a large project or intend on using this vacuum daily or so, I would recommend buying extras of each, the bags and filters. All in all its a great little machine and if you are looking for something lightweight but intended for large jobs, a vacuum that is cost-effective and easy to use. I would definitely give this one a try. Its great.UPDATE February 2021-I see other reviews that are very negative about this vacuum. I may have gotten a better quality device than others. Not sure about that. But I have been using this vacuum for over 2 years to vacuum very dirty building sites, sheetrock dust, broken ceramic tiles, broken up grout, etc., saw dust and even tack, staples and nails.Vacuum is still going strong like I need it to.Still happy with it.

I dumbly dropped this lovely dust-sucker from the top rung of my ladder. It didn't miss a beat. Still works. Still loves me. Also, I've got roughly 15 feet of hose that I use to attach my miter saw to the shopvac while I'm risking finger severances, and the Shop-Vac does an excellent job of keeping my workspace suctioned and sanctified, even as I never manage to build anything whatsoever impressive or functional or even remotely well-angled. As such, sometimes I suction up the end product along with all of its depressive shavings. Ce la vie, Bob Vila!If you're not a carpenter but are in the risky business of raising children, don't fret. This vacuum also sucks the prolific vomit (dried or otherwise) right out of the crevices of your child's carseat. You can even suction your children directly, if tenderly, and in certain circumstances. Jenny McCarthy claims that dirty carseats, if left uncleaned, are the third leading cause of autism, after circumcision and Daniel Tiger.
