This shovel surprised me, honestly. I was super worried that because the handle was something that had to be assembled from different sections of tubing that it'd be a weak point, or make it flimsy (despite being easier to store) but it was actually really sturdy?!? Like, this is one of my favorite garden tools now! It's of a good size for our small yard, especially since those working on the yard are rather on the short side (Sis and I barely break 5'.), but it despite its size it doesn't stint on the quality of it as a good, solid shovel.Honestly, this was a much-welcome shovel for the upkeep before the rainy season. The head has a good shape and the blunted flanges at the back make it so it doesn't cut into your feet. I'm hoping that the powder coating makes it last well through many seasons. I absolutely recommend this shovel to anyone needing a small or portable one!

For what I need a shovel for this did not work well (I needed to remove 2 dead azaleas). It is too short and the shovel is also very small. It is light weight and built well just not what I was looking for.

I got this shovel to keep in my vehicle. I was surprised how this and sturdy the steel handle was. I actually expected less. The steel is round tube, that's pretty thick and sturdy. It goes together well and handles snow fine. It's a short shovel and won't do your back any favors with extended use, but it works great for portability and emergency. The powder coating g was fine and without flaw. No issues with rust or deformed metal.

Ordered this for my hubby as a Christmas gift. He likes the fact that it has an extendable handle. He will be using it as part of his off roading gear.

Omg it so small.....Best bet is to go to a local home improvement and get what you need.
