This review is for a Shower Threshold Water Dam. I can't comment on how well it works for water as I ordered it for a different reason. We remodeled a 100+ year old kitchen. There is an original brick chimney in the corner. It is topped off and not functional but beautiful and a reminder of days gone by. We placed a base cabinet and countertop next to it. There was a small gap and I wanted to prevent debris from accumulating and or possibly spider webs as it is too thin of a gap to clean but too big to not worry about. I measured and cut this silicone dam and used it like quarter-round on the gap. It turned out beautifully. This is a very affordable and esthetically pleasing solution for our problem. It has been attached for about 2 months now with no sign of adhesive weakening. Think outside of the box as this is a very versatile and affordable product.
