Compared to similar models listed, this one was the least expensive of any I could see. However, the images clearly show the opening for the shower wand lined with a plastic/rubber lining that would be helpful in protecting the wand from scratches when it is placed in the opening. In reality the unit does not have that lining.

This thing was a lifesaver and so much for these expensive fixtures having a lifetime warranty no more AXOR or Hansgrohe products for me after this. This product is much better and cleaner looking than the piece they wanted $400 for. If your on the fence about get it because it is good quality and the finish is nice. Matched our brushed nickel finish perfectly.

The fixture is well built and the finish is excellent. The pipe outlet is a little close to the wall after installation and makes installing the hand-shower hose a little difficult for those of us with big hands, but it looks and functions great!
