Why don’t I think of these gadgets!? What a time saver. A couple of areas of note - your sink must be clean for the octopus suction cups to work (I mean, it probably is clean if you’re thawing food but worth mentioning), make sure your food is in an airtight plastic baggie (the reusable silicone ones work too, and set a time so you don’t let it go too long. I found the suction cups worked a little better with a little warm water added. I know you can’t do much without risking your thaw, but it helped. I thought it came with two (like the photo suggests), but it’s only one.
