The gentle curve of this version of the Ultra Accel is designed for faster cutting while in the canopy of a tree, or anytime where you're cutting things that are above shoulder height.

Silky MIRAI-ME (Smooth Cutting) Technology
Blade is 1.4mm thick which is only offered on the Professional Series version. Utilizes proprietary Silky MIRAI-ME (Smooth Cutting) Technology - The Teeth of the Future! The precision-ground, razor-sharp teeth have four cutting angles along the length of the blade and provide fast, clean and smooth cutting action.
Impulse Hardening Technology
Using a special high frequency heating technique, teeth are heated instantly & hardened. The remainder of the blade is unchanged & still retains its normal flexibility. Hardened teeth are harder than an ordinary file & stay sharp about three times longer than non-hardened teeth.
Folding Action
The Silky Ultra Accel 240mm Curve is a saw with the folding action needed for portability, but with a sturdy aluminum chassis and large teeth to give it the cutting power and stability of a fixed-blade saw.

I own 4 silky products. All of them I give my best scores. Only reason I had to replace this blade is because I abused the blade by using it like a hatchet. If not for that I would still be using the original blade. They all come very sharp. They cut real clean with little damage to the tree. I’ll always recommend Silky. Thank you so much for this seller.

The teeth on the Saw are so hardened that it breaks very easy this replacement blade broke the very first time I used it, $45 I will not be buying more silky products The blades are too expensive but work great when they’re not broken

Still sharp. I do a lot of gardening, which includes pruning & I love this saw. Great ability to angle cut & still sharp after several tree climbing excursions. Recommended!

I've used Silky saws for the past 15 yrs. because of the superior Japanese blades. This is a replacement for a blade that's been in regular use for about 6 yrs. and starting to require a little more effort to cut. If you own a Silky saw, I strongly suggest you get a spare blade as the models change and replacement blades become harder to find.

exact replacement for Silky saw. Very sharp and effective cutting. The metal is more brittle than lesser saws and if it binds up can break more easily than others. That is why I had to spring for this relatively expensive replacement blade. Still, once you get used to using a lighter touch it is a pleasure to use
