These look great in our drop down lights in our yurt. Only issue we had that you cannot get the threaded ring back on after they are installed because they don't have enough clearance. It really isn't necessary since they clamp on anyway.

Our ceiling fan came with glass globes that resembled a mason jar. Because the light globe was enclosed at the bottom, I was restricted to the size of light bulbs I could use. I couldn't find a bulb that fit and put out enough light for our large room. I searched for a replacement globe, but nothing would fit.I found these and decided to try them, not knowing if I could get them to work on my fan. I did have to purchase a longer screw to hold them in place, but I'm in love with the finished product. Now I can put a larger bulb in them and have enough light to see everything.

Parfait pour moi je cherchais quelques chose pour mettre sur mes lampes chauffante pour protéger mes poules des brûlures, fonctionne parfaitement ,il faut par contre veiller à ce que l'ampoule entre a l'intérieur.

We recently acquired an older home with outdated shiny brass ceiling fans that dominated the kitchen and great room. After pricing new fans, we decided to keep the old ones and refurbish them.I purchased these bulb covers, black spray paint, and the cool looking vintage Edison light bulbs to finish the project. What an incredible difference! The kitchen now has a very modern look and is much better lit. We love the look so much that we bought two more sets for the other fans and a matching pendant light for the kitchen sink area.To maximize the fit, look, and function of these shades:1) Remove the big, ugly silver adjustment screws that give a Frankenstein appearance.2) Use the screws from the fan that used to hold the old glass globes in place. Ours was a perfect fit and compliment.3) Use a single strip of electrical tape around the light bulb insulator that these cages attach to. Place it where the new cage makes contact and clamps on. It not only improves the grip, but will prevent any vibration when the fan is running.This update to our lighting improved the functionality and appearance making this a great value for the money.

These looked nice but did not protect the light bulbs like I was hoping they would from a son who likes to throw a basketball around.

They were bigger than I thought I had to return them I didn't take a photo of it But it was easy to return and I got a full refund very well made I like the color it's just that they were very big and it was more than what I needed.
