This ladder is very thin. There are some bends in the structure and it doesn't appeal very stable. The one time that I used it, I did not feel secure or safe.

I was looking for something that would help me (I’m very short) reach high cabinets in a new tall kitchen space. This one is sturdy and does the job. Not so easy to close (need to release a hidden knob) or move around (it’s relatively heavy) but I trade that off for sturdy.
