Light weight and inside ok. But it did not survive the first trip. The sipper handle broke when opening it the first time out of the box (packaging came damaged as well) the shoulder strap broke at the airport on its first trip… will not buy again … the hygrometer might be a gimmick. It did not move at all in a highly humid climate down south nor in dry California weather … or it could be a good sign for the sake of my fiddle …

This is a great case. I had ordered another case from another company that did not live up to my expectations, I loved the color (fuschia) however, there was not enough room and the bow section did not working properly. This case has everything I wanted: lightweight, easy bow placement, perfect size for violin, storage for my shoulder rest, rosin, extra strings and a full length zippered compartment for music. The other case could not even zip with a small folder. This case has a hand carrier and a shoulder strap. It's perfect!
