Great replacement for my old rusty Rancho shocks and were about $10 cheaper each verses the same Ranchos with no real difference in ride (actually a much better ride since the old shocks were so worn out). Fairly easy to install if you use plenty of PB Blaster on the old shock mount nuts several times in the days leading up to install and use some kind of lube on the inside of the grommets so they slide onto the mounting posts easier. I had some silicon spray from a previous project that worked really well.

i got 2 ofcourse, the one had the wrong bushings, since my shocks were shot i had to use a old bushing but it did work. the ride after was so much better on a 94 grand Cherokee, alot less roll on turns. amazon did take care of the problem but make sure there right before taking old ones off

I just installed these on a 1995 Jeep Wrangler (06/2016). They improved the ride quite a bit. I was replacing what looked like the exact same shock (Skyjacker Hydro 7000), but these were a bit longer body than the ones I had on before. They fit. The install was very easy to do even with my stuck rusty bolts. It took me about 3 hours only because of the stuck bolts. One bit of advice is to Kroil or PBBlaster your bolts everyday from the day you order these. By the time they arrive, your bolts will more likely be unstuck. I did some research because the ones I was replacing were installed with the boot side down. I assumed the shocks were worn out and giving me a bad ride. However, I read that these shocks need to be installed boot side up or they cause a very rough ride. Many shocks don't care which way they are installed, but apparently, these do. Install BOOT UP! I'll try to remember to update this review as the shocks age.

Item as advertised and arrived very quickly! Was a perfect fit and easy to install. Don't pay a mechanic, you can bolt these on easily. The shocks come with nice bushings but without the bushings installed in the mounting eyes. The easiest way to put them in is to use a couple drops of dawn dish washing liquid and a hand squeeze adjustable bar clamp, the pop right in with minimal effort. You don't want to oil them as oil may break down the material of the bushing.

Ordered these for a CJ with a 4.5 inch lift and they went on easy and worked great. Took about 10 minutes to install and rides like a new Jeep.
