The pump is well built and not plastic...like many others.

I was asked to rate the features accuracy, ease of use and ease of reading. Well, there's nothing to read and IDK what kind of accuracy you need. Maybe connecting it to a tire but that's on you, not the pump. Anyway, it's a bike pump. You use it to pump air into a bike tire. There's nothing fancy about it.

I bought this hand pump to replace an all metal one that I had for thirty-five years. It is sturdy with an all metal vacuum body but has both a plastic vacuum seal cap atop the tube and also a plastic handle mounted on the steel shaft. The air fitting attached to the vacuum body is brass. The plastic quick air hose connection on this Slime was extremely hard to clamp down to attach to the valve stem but still it was doable. This pump was more efficient than my older hand floor pump. Update 03/07/16: This pump will not last. It mysteriously started deflating tubes rather than inflating them only after three uses. There is nothing to adjust on the pump so I can't eliminate the deflation (Yes, all connections were tight).

If you're looking for a simple, low pressure pump for a ball, this one would be fine. If you need anything over 30 psi (i.e. bike or car tires), you'd be well advised to spend a few extra bucks and get something that will hold up. The build quality of this pump is extremely cheap- It never sealed very well to the tire valve stem (slowly leaking air while I inflated the tire) and the second time i used it the one-way valve gave way and I had to fight the internal pressure of the tire to keep inflating it- the pressure from the tire just escapes back into the pump. I have already gotten rid of it and bought a higher quality pump which works great. In summary, avoid this pump unless you're just using it for soccer balls, beachballs, and other lower pressure applications that won't push it past it's breaking point. FYI- I didn't buy this from amazon, i bought it at an auto supply store- no idea why this thing was being sold in an auto parts store because it can't handle that application.

I love this pump! It is a fair, low price. Works constantly and is simple in design - fewer things to go wrong! The adapters make it very versatile for inflating two types of Bike tires stems, Air mattresses, Basketballs, Soccer balls etc. Very dependable "old school" air pump. Good stuff!!

Pump seems to be working well for my mountain bike tires up to 30-35 psi. Haven't tested higher psi, but it's getting difficult to pump at 30 psi. Overall construction of the pump seems fairly cheap (not surprising for the price). I wouldn't throw it around too much, but if you just need to get some air in your tires it'll get the job done for a low cost. Next time I'll probably pay a little more for a pump with an integrated psi gauge. FYI, each push of this pump adds about 2.5 psi to my tires.***Shipping***My package took 10 days to arrive from Niagara Cycle Works. I ordered a couple other things direct from Amazon at the same time and they arrived in 4 days. In fact, my Amazon packages arrived before Niagara Cycle Works even shipped my order! Slow shipping seems to be a constant complaint from other reviewers. My items finally arrived in good shape, but I wouldn't order from Niagara Cycle Works unless you're a very patient person.

Provided it doesn't break in the next few months. My main concern is that the handles are going to snap. I can feel them flexing when i get closer to maximum volume, which is another problem.I have 65 max psi tires, and can only pump them up to 50 psi (which is minimally enough for me) with this pump before it would take a consumption of spinach to finish the job, and i weight 200 pounds.Other than that, it beats paying 75 cents at the gas stations.
