This playpen is serving as a safe spot for my chicks to stretch their legs from their brooder and when I clean their brooder.The playpen is very cheaply made and for me only going to be used one year. You CAN wash it out and store it for next season but that feels like a lot of unnecessary effort. For the price and to not have to worry about germs, I really would suggest a new one. It folds down very small which is helpful so I can store it when not in use. Another non negotiable feature for me with chicks is the top. My little girls are really starting to stretch their wings so jumping out is a reality now. To keep them safe I can zip the top for playtime. They have plenty of air with the breathable mesh. The size is really great for safe and supervised exercise time. The price is reasonable and again , I think worth freshening each season.

The playpen offers ample space for my chicks to move around freely. The zippered mesh cover provides excellent ventilation while ensuring my chicks are safely enclosed. Its lightweight design makes it easy to move indoors or outdoors, and it folds down compactly for convenient storage when not in use. The material is easy to wipe down, which is essential for maintaining a hygienic environment for my chick. Love it!

We got this for baby chicks as we're planning to raise some soon. This was very compact and vacuum sealed in a bag when we got it. It twists and folds down into a small circle, similar to other play tents our children have used. The quality seems okay, it's not falling apart, but it doesn't look like it will last as long as others that we've had. The zipper feels very cheap and needed to be put back on the tracks when we opened it. I worry when zipping it that I might actually rip it or get caught on the mesh and tear that. The metal on one of the sides is also a bit wonky and didn't straighten out with time. The material is fairly lightweight, but also feels thinner than necessary. The size is decent and it's low to the ground so it would work well for small animals to run around in while supervised. I do wish their was a size panel zipper, but it works as is.

This is a good little pop-up shelter for the guinea pigs while their home gets cleaned up. The little guys tend to get in trouble if they are left loose while unsupervised, and we don't like to leave them squeezed in a box. So, they happily explore the new area while the kids clean up. I am not sure if they would chew through it if given a chance, but that does not come into play for a short while. It does fit back into the bag it came in, packing very compactly. Or for frequent use, it folds flat and doesn't require the twists and turns to put it in the bag.
