This is a nice little coffee dripper; it works great and is easy to wash. The silicone parts come off easily if needed. After switching to pour-over coffee, we realized how much better it is taste-wise, but it's also way more compact and faster than an actual coffee machine. The coffee is fresh and delicious; it takes less than a minute to make a cup of coffee once you have boiling water. This is high-quality stainless steel and can be used over and over again for a lifetime. Which makes it much more practical and sustainable than using a coffee machine.

Actually works perfectly! Don't mean to sound so surprised but my hopes were fairly low. Liquid drains perfectly down into mug. Rubber rim on the piece helps it sit on mug rim without sliding about. Perfect for camping/travel. Light, sturdy, easy to clean, environmentally friendly, fast, and doesn't affect taste.What a time to be alive!

I like this one with the bottom section to sit on top of my coffee mug. I put in 2-3 teaspoons of ground coffee to make 16oz coffee mug full, pour slowly in (you have to or it obviously is going to overflow) about 10 sec to pour in and drains down in under a minute, of pretty hot, not boiling water. It makes a basic store bought inexpensive ground coffee a lot more tasty, practically like pricy exotic coffee beans I use to buy and have to grind up. It is classy and top- looking qualiy, as I just dump out the grinds, and quickly rinse the unit under running water. And I super like the little rubber- like slide-on on the metal grabber at the top, a must to cleanly and easily and safely pick up the hot item off the top of your cup. After using a couple of times, you can easily the hang of it, or put more or less coffee ground in to suit your taste. So quick and easy, I quite using my coffee maker, and I think it tastes better and uses up less electriciy by far than a coffee maker.

The filter fell apart in under 2 months and is now unusable. The handle at the top is too small and the plastic guard came off in the first week. Now, the cone has detached from the base and there isn't a way to reattach so it's going in the recycle bin. Total waste of time and money, readers I recommend that you stick with a plastic Melita or other known brand.

I use this for Tetley CTC tea. It has two layers, an outer layer which is a metal cone with tiny round holes and an inner layer that is a fine metal mesh. I set the package aside a few days to be sure I didn't find a defect. When I was getting rid of the package I found the instructions. I was doing it various ways but the instructions work consistently quickly and well. Before I got this, I was using a small tea strainer but it let some grit through and some grit got enmeshed in the strainer which slowed cleaning. This strainer is better. It cleans with a knock and a swirl with water. The tab-style handle is okay but I'd buy another strainer like this if it had a 4" wire handle that was lightweight enough to balance on a mug. I'll be throwing the silicone tab away. It falls off often and I'll tire of putting it back on. I tried using this without the tab handle and it doesn't get hot.

It’s easy to use and clean. The coffee grounds don’t get clogged which makes a good cup of coffee. But…. The connection from the filter to stand is flimsy and broke after a few months of use. Now we stick it in the cup until I order something else
