Unable to get them to connect to WiFi or Alexa. They will connect to Bluetooth if my iPhone is close by.

Read description closely- these are not individual spotlights. They are four spot lights wired to one another. While this does eliminate the need for finding a way to run power to multiple plugs, it also limits light placement. The lights themselves are small, but bright. They can be placed on stakes in the ground or bolted to a ceiling or soffit etc. I chose to utilize as stakes. Assembly for this is easy, the stake is held to each spotlight via a simple screw, however, once screwed on the lights still slip off of the stake easily. Because of this if you try to reposition the light after placing it in the ground, the stake will be left behind in the ground. In addition, they tilt easily and can’t be tightened at your preferred angle, so they need to be adjusted after even the slightest movement. Also, there is a button control on the strand to manually turn the lights on and off but this is not water resistant so you must be able to find place for the lights that this can be easily accessible, but also protected from the elements. Lastly, although being close to my ring doorbell (which also connects to our 2.4 network) the lights were not able to connect to my wifi. I will have to get a wifi extender in order for them to connect and be functional. In all, while a great idea execution is average. The design lacks versatility, limiting the users ability for placement and overall functionality.

Having a mixture of outdoor lighting products makes it challenging for me to find matching "white temp" lights. My fanatic wife ONLY wants the warm white, and anything over 4000k is "blue" to her. So I found these Ligency spot lights and I'm super impressed with how quick and easy the setup is. Literally just plug, play and add to the app. Done. The lights themselves are very powerful and have deep & rich colors. The build quality is good too, I think these will last a while in the harsh Northeast. The one thing that has me a bit worried is the controller. I'm not sure how waterproof it is, so just to be cautious, I put the controller into an outdoor plastic enclosure (with a few other non-waterproof controllers). The lights perfectly match my other outdoor lights, and seamless blend in when setting up colors for holidays or just white year round. Super happy with these, they are truly awesome spot lights.

We ordered these lights with the intention of spotlighting certain yard features, while enjoying our patio in the evenings. We have really liked the interactive controls through the app and Alexa, (the kids love experimenting with the colors), however, there are a few things that I found to be a bit of a letdown, to include the size of the lights, which aren’t as large as I’d imagined they would be, to the actual “spotlight” capability, since they seem to be more suited to accenting than spotlighting. In my opinion, the size and overall brightness of these lights more aptly lend them to smaller garden setups than they would to larger landscapes.I also feel that I may have miscalculated the appropriateness of corded lights for our particular setup, which was of course completely my fault for not doing adequate research prior to ordering. Taking into consideration the area where we wanted to use these, I now believe that a solar option would be the way for us to go, but these may work really well for you if you have outlets in the area that you’re intending to highlight, and you don’t have to worry about kids or pets when it comes to the cords. We ultimately decided to use these amongst a smaller plant grouping that we have closer to the house, and they look really, really nice there.

This is a quick and easy way to add some outdoor lighting to your yard. You're going to need to control this from your phone or home hub, and it is not intended to be integrated into another low voltage system.Other than downloading the app for your phone, this is plug and play. The advantage is ease. The disadvantage is lack of flexibility. The lights will need to be within about seven feet of each other, and the max distance from your outlet to the first light is a little over 15 feet. Each light is about 3 watts (LED). That is pretty much perfect for accent lighting. If you have a small area you want to add accent lighting to, or if you want an inexpensive way to try out landscape lighting, I think these are pretty good. If you have a large yard or lots of stuff you want to illuminate, you'll need to get a low voltage transformer, a bunch of wire, (maybe 150 bucks for those) and then spend five to fifty bucks for each light fixture.I already had the Smart Life app on my phone. The app recognized the lights immediately. And, as soon as the Smart Life app connected, the Alexa App recognized them. The version of English used in the Smart Life App is distinct enough from the English we speak in our home to make working with it difficult. I couldn't figure out how to set up a schedule, but that was easy to do in the Alexa app.In terms of quality, these are pretty good. I've seen better, but those cost more.
