I bought these but gave them to my Mother. They were too thick for my boots. My Mom were them with her Crocs. Very warm just thick.

Should I spend this much money on a pair of socks? Hell yeah! Smartwool socks are hands down the best socks I’ve ever put on my feet. They’re warm, breathable, and insanely comfortable. Whether I’m lounging at home or out in the cold, my feet stay cozy and dry. Totally worth it!

Wenn sie passen sind die Socken schön, vor allem die Farbe und das Muster. Ich habe zwei Paar in L bestellt, beide Paare vorschriftsmäßig gewaschen, um beim Aufhängen feststellen zu müssen, dass bei einem Paar gemäß Bildmaterial ein Socken deutlich länger als der andere ausfiel. Leider bereits die zweite negative Erfahrung innerhalb weniger Wochen mit viel zu gross ausfallenden Smartwool Crew Women‘s in Gr. L, die ich seit über zehn Jahren kaufe und die sonst immer wie angegossen sitzen. Mir bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass der Ersatzartikel in Ordnung ist. Nachtrag No1: Der Ersatzartikel war einwandfrei. Nachtrag No2: Bei beiden Socken des Ersatzartikels ist nach exakt zwei vorschriftsmäßig durchgeführten Wäschen, vor dem ersten Tragen und danach, auf jeweils 9 cm Breite die Naht des Bündchenrandes aufgegangen! Are you kidding me, Smartwool?

I wore these 3 days in a row in my rain boots and they are great. No sweating, no smelling and very comfortable. In fact, I think I will only wear wool socks with everything moving forward. The size S for shoe size 6.5 is slightly roomy, which is great because after washing and a bit of shrinkage, it will still fit great. They stay in place and do not bunch up or move or roll down. These are on the thicker side. I've also purchased the same brand with slightly less cushioning for regular shoes/boots.
