Best deal for the money. It shaves ice quickly. We purchased a rubber mat to put underneath it as the ice goes everywhere. Great morale booster for the office on those hot summer days.

This is a great addition to my kitchen. Shaved ice very fine as I have a lot of crowns. LOL

Love it!!! This is so much easier on my teeth!!! lol I eat it plain, put it in my coffee, and you can use any flavor and make snow cones!!! I just ordered another one for my daughter in love!!! I highly reccomand this product; but beware it is so fine that it melts quickly. For people that have to chew ice all the time, as I have all my life; you probably have an iodine deffencity. An iodine deffencity can be fixed with a supplement. Your thyroid needs iodine to function properly, check with your doctor.

I bought this for the intention of using it as a dual-purpose machine; ice shavings for the kids' snow cones and crushed ice for drinks. So far, I haven't discovered a way to make this do anything close to "crushed ice" as the blade spins too fast to allow for larger pieces of ice. If you apply gentle pressure, you get something very close to actual snow. Apply a lot more pressure and you get slightly more coarse snow. Ideally, there would be a way to either adjust the blade gap or the speed, or both. Very frustrating as this machine is identified as a crusher and shaver.Aside from not producing larger granules, I think the biggest and most surprising flaw is the positioning of the output spout! it's right against the base where the chute attaches, and the bowl (more of a pan) doesn't reach as far. This means that you either have to hold the bowl and keep it pressed underneath (while turning it) or deal with shaved ice going everywhere. Very poor design in that regard, but I will keep this now simply because it's sufficient for making the kids some snow cones while the weather is warm enough. If I happen to find a good deal on a better machine that actually does what it advertises, this thing will be up for sale to the highest bidder. As a final observation, I would suggest the company use something like Google Translate to edit their Instruction Manual.

Everyone loves this thing. Really well built so I think I will get years of great service. Very safe for children also.
