To protect it from being broken accidentally, the thickness of boards is increased to 0.6 inches, the last slot is lengthened to 1.5 inches, and pins are inserted into each slot.
Two stainless steel cutters, straight and wavy, are sharp enough to slice the soap quickly and cleanly.

I do like that two cutting blades comes with the cutter. This has made my soap cutting so much easier. The bars are beautifully even. I just wish the blades were a smidget longer otherwise this is perfect for beginners and seamed soakers alike.

Is great to do its job. It’s nice and big big where you can get any size soap in there. I like that they come with both straight and wavy cutters. It’s a very professional cutter. Thank you very much for making it possible that I could get it at a great price.

I like having full loaf slots as a guide, but l do have trouble getting my loaf slices the same size. I have to constantly adjust the loaf as l slice. I wasn't expecting that.The cutter is easy to clean & sturdy. It's a good beginner tool but honestly, marketing soap products would eventually require a one drop wire cutter for easier precisely sized bars (in my opinion).Edit/Update: The cuts on this cutter were always inaccurate & each one came out a different weight. I eventually had to buy the more expensive wire cutter that cuts the full loaf evenly.

I purchased this item to cut my soap into individual bars. The soap mold is very sturdy and easy to clean. It have dividers to help cutting clean and smooth. Plus it came with soap cutters which is a plus. Great soap cutter at an affordable price.

With a million and half other sellers on Amazon it is difficult to figure out exactly which soap loaf wooden cutter is really worth the asking $. Well, this one is. True, it is not adjustable. That said, that was not a critical thing for me. I cut standard size bars and I just want sturdy wood and consistency. Got it! Also, it was nice of them to include both types of cutters. I typically use the straight one, and have had no issues.

I decided to take a chance on this product, as a new soap-maker because of the 4-star rating.1. The knives are wobbly, i.e., not securely attached to the wood. Cuts result in bar discrepancies of 1/8th to 1/4th inches. I just lost a lot of product today because of this cutter.2. The spaces between the cuts in the wood are too wide, leaving a lot of room for angled, uneven cuts.3. The overall quality is pretty low; I guess you get what you pay for.Please invest in a $300 cutter. It's not worth the heartache.
