This is junk. This much smaller than I thought. It hasn’t worked at all and I’ve done everything the instructions say. Save your money!

These Ollivage Outdoor Solar Lights have been working well. We received them in the mail promptly. They are small, lightweight, and easy to install. I purchased these to put on two poles in my front yard, one of which had a birdhouse and the other a weather station. I wanted the lights to scare away wild hogs, which are tearing up our front yard. The lights were hung about 10 ft. up and projects lights once activated by motion out to about 20 feet on the ground. The hogs seem to stay away for a while but have learned to adjust. I have come to enjoy the lights because they provide a look of security near our driveway and when walking in our front yard at night, I now have motion activated lights. It has been working for about 5 months now with no problems. I think for the price and ease of installation it is a good buy. I need a trap now.

Once installed, they work very well. The most recent purchase is my second set I've purchased. And I plan to purchase two more. The only reason why I didn't give five stars is that it's difficult to place the screws the right distance apart. and then too, when they are placed the right distance apart, getting them the right depth requires trial and error. Not an a difficult process, but a little frustrating.The product ought to come in two parts, the mounting bracket should be separate from the lamp itself. It would be easier to mount the bracket to the wall and then maybe slide mount the lamp to the bracket once it's attached to the wall. The product is all on piece. Since the you cannot see the screws holding the lamp to the wall, you can't access the screws with out removing the unit and hence the difficulty installing it in the first place.

These are good LED lights, especially if you manage your expectations on brightness. The main, non-positionable light is the brightest and when aimed down covers a fair-sized are with light. The smaller, positionable lights allow for extra coverage areas but the light dissipates quickly and isn’t very bright. Works fine for supplemental light on the side of the house but if you want to light up an area they’ll struggle. Mounting can be a challenge, depending on where east-to-west sunlight falls on your mounting location and where you expect motion to come from, to trigger the light. The solar panel pivots but can’t fully articulate to be in sunlight in any position but it’s workable with the right mounting plan. I used 3M extreme mounting tape instead of the screws - gave me more options to hang. Battery life seems good - they come on with an always-on low light when dark (700pm now, where I live) and are still on the next morning at 530/600am when I go out for a morning walk.For ten bucks, get ‘em. But realize what you’re getting. If you want bright LED’s that wash a large area with light keep shopping. If you want a security light that shines in dark areas when triggered, these lights will serve that purpose.

I bought this spotlight unit to light my path when I take out the garbage at night. I mounted in high on the corner of my house where it gets good (though not great) sunshine, and it does exactly what I hoped. It has a middle light and two swivel spots, one on each side, that can be positioned to light up a broader area.It always lights my way quite brightly, even after cloudy days. It actually stays on dimly until it detects motion, and then turns bright until the motion stops for 30 seconds. I cannot say with any confidence how long it stays on during the night, since I rarely get up before daylight. But it does continue to work well into the evening (perhaps much longer on sunny days than cloudy ones). I think the always-on feature is nice for security purposes, and I don't think it is really bright enough (until it detects motion) to bother anyone.I'm very happy with this unit and impressed at how bright it is and how consistently the motion detection works. Also, given its position high on the house, it is nice to know that I won't have to climb up periodically to change the batteries, since it is solar operated. I suppose the rechargeable batteries will run down eventually and at that point I will just have to replace the entire unit. But it is inexpensive enough that I'll be happy if I get a couple of years use out of it.

In July, after searching for a simple, solar powered outdoor motion detection light to light up the north end of our dog yard area, I found these, and purchased two of these. Even though this light initially appeared to be a bit "cheap quality", it made me a believer of not "judging a book by it's cover"! I absolutely LOVE IT. I love the feature that it does stay on, low beam throughout the night, but when one of the dogs goes within reach, BAM, on comes the bright light! Literally scared the pee out of one of the dogs, until he got used to it. I highly recommend this little gem for any outdoor areas needing security lighting. I'm hoping it continues to work so great for a long time! I'm buying another for the front of our garage for sure!!Earlier this month (August), though, one of the lights quit working. I noticed one of the "cells" on the square light panel was rusted, and a considerable amount of moisture had developed inside the panel cover. I requested a return, and replacement (with no problem), and I received the replacement within 24 hours!! I love these lights, definitely still recommend them, and the seller has fantastic customer service!
