the cover is thick; it seems good quality for the first look.but i need time to use it this summer so i can tell how the quality is.

Did well over last summer. But now it's the new season and it already has a hole in it.Edit: company is the real MVP for reaching out and offering a refund or to send me another. New one just arrived today in time for Memorial Day weekend. Hopefully this one will last longer than this first. Raising from 2 to 4 stars to get through for another year.

It’s a heavy pool cover! Hoping it lasts a fair bit longer than our other one before ripping 🤞🏼 But they make it easy to register the product for warranty.

It works great, heats up maybe the top 3"-4" of the water. Doesn't do anything when the pump turns on though, recirculating water takes away from it. Also keeps the leaves and bugs out

Cover is 14mm at an 8mil price. Two year warranty so we will see if it lasts.

This cover is a cut above the other covers for sale by the manufacturers It is thicker and the air pockets are sturdy and don't fill up with water. Other covers we have had seem to get waterlogged and shed little blue circles. They also weaken and rip. They rarely lasted more than one or two seasons. This one will have lasted one season already and is still in great shape.

The cover was cut in an oval. Doesn’t fit my 30’ pool. Sent an email when I received it, no response. Seams are not sealed all the way. Debris gets under.

Bought this with high hopes. When it arrived the plastic was excessively stiff and the large majority of the bubbles were popped. Was planning on returning but the Amazon seller reached out. They sadly didn’t have anymore in my size in stock (they did when I first was contacted) but it took them over 24hrs between each message to respond to me. In the end they offered a refund of the money and the solar blanket has been recycled.Overall it’s a gamble if you will get a good one or not. I was very disappointed.

This iItem is great and as described. I bought two other brands past three years. This one is by far the heaviest of plastic, it advertised 14 mil and it is definitly thicker than the other two brands at 8 mil. First one lasted 2 seasons, second one lasted not even 1.5 seasons (was like cellophane out of the box)...based on comparing this quality with the other two brands quality I feel I will get more than two years out of this brand. The others where so thin trying to roll it up would cause it to not roll near the ends so it wouldn't easily roll up with one person. The thin ones, to roll it up off my 24' round pool, I had to roll the left side then move over and finish that roll by rolling the right side, then left, then right, and work it the length of the pool that way...this one is so sturdy I can roll it up across the width of the pool with one flip, so I can flip a little, move forward, flip a little, move forward, etc. Be aware the bubbles are round but flat on top, should not be anything to worry about. I an very excited for this cover and I will update as time goes on to inform everyone on how it ages. See my other reviews on the other pool covers...I posted pics on how my previous cover fell apart in less than 1.5 seasons (season for me is May->Oct)..and my chlorine levels are kept very low 1ppm using Frogger system so chlorine harness on cover is a minimum. As of now I highly recommend Yankee 14 mil solar cover.

Fits right within the diameter of my 16 feet pool. The plastic is thick enough to last at least a few years with Canadian weather conditions

UPDATE - I contacted customer service from the website for Yankee. They asked for pictures which I sent.Less than two weeks later a new cover showed up at my door. I am hoping this one will last I am very pleased that they stood by their product. The whole time frame was about 2 weeks from when I emailed the company.We have used this cover for two months. More than 45% of the "bubbles" have popped and left all the blue "dot" residue in the pool. We've had to change the sand filter twice due to this. DO NOT PURCHASE!

Love the quality, only dislike is it had to be cut to fit. Would prefer ordering the exact size
