Unit does not have a volume control. Neighbors can easily be disturbed. Otherwise it makes a great loud noise to scare intruders.

You might get 2 weeks. I ordered 3 they all quit charging within 3 weeks. Won't take a charge. They will work while charging cord is attached. I won't buy no more

I ordered this to scare away coyotes that were destroying my drip irrigation system. The gadget worked for about 3 months and I think was successful in scaring away the coyotes. Too bad it failed after 3 months. I think it was the battery. It beeps when outside even though it is fully charged.

At first it wasn't working, but the eagle noises and flashing lights is working, just trying to find out how long it lasts in a garage before I have to recharge it.

Perfect for when you're boondocking or tent camping. Will trigger if a person or animal walks by it. Different sounds to choose from. Works as described. When it goes off you will definitely know! LOL I MIGHT BUY A SECOND UNIT!

It worked great all summer but now that it's winter here in the Pacific Northwest, it's not doing so great. It keeps beeping so I don't think it's getting enough sunlight. I'm not going to move it sunnier spot even though I probably should. The area I need it in is the area that it will stay until our days get longer and the sun reaches that spot for longer. The beeping probably annoys my neighbors but I honestly don't care. The reason I have it is because their free roaming cats kept coming into my yard and harassing my dog and laying on my patio furniture making it dirty. So they can listen to the beeping if they insist on keeping their cats outside. Sorry not sorry!I recorded a pack of coyotes yipping and that seems to be very effective at keeping the cats out of my yard. The remote works great too. I can turn it on and off from my bedroom window. If I forget and take my dog out to potty, it definitely startles us. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, just got to hold off for more sunshine so the annoying beeping goes away. The beeping scares my dog too but I really can't turn it off because I know the cats will return. Now they actually sit in the fence and torment my dog because they know it's there. But I guess that's better than having them in my actual property.

Works great! Had deer stealing my watermelons and eating my peppers. Yes, deer can do that. Worked the first time we used it and have had no problems since. We have it set to make barking and gun shot sounds from dusk to dawn only which works nicely so it's not going off while I'm working out there or if our pup wanders by in the day. It's in my garden about 50 yards from the master bedroom. If I happen to be awake pre-dawn I can faintly hear it if it goes off (heard it 3 or 4 times in two months). It has never awakened us. Works way better than the motion sensor owl statues out there. Expanding my garden next spring and going to buy 5 or 6 more. Been working for two months so far on initial charge and solar recharge.
