Copper top fit my post perfectly and with some waterproof calk is sealed down solidly. If you like real Copper this will make you happy. And if in the future it should tarnish some ketchup will return it to new. Trying to keep birds off the top. Birds don't like shiney things so I have my fingers crossed.

Just as advertised! We bought 9 6x6 and 4 4x4 solid copper post caps. The size is right (5 1/2 x 5 1/2 and 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 respectively). These are shiny copper at the moment but they will darken with age and eventually turn green. If you want them to stay bright you will have to spray them with a clear coat. I expect these to last longer than the posts they adorn. But if I were ever to need more, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy these again.

Very nice. It's thick copper. Not sure what's the best way to glue this level is what I am still struggling.
