Ordered two of these poles and neither pole had the bottom screw cap..why would you sale poles with no caps?

Just got this and seems like really good quality but wasn't sure exactly how long it was when collapsed. Everything else I read seemed to indicate it was 36 inches which would have been perfect for my needs but the collapsed length is 40 inches. I'll try it out next week and see how it works out for me. I'm optimistic based on the quality of the workmanship.

It doesn't have line holding circles except the tip.

What I love most is the "collapsible" feature of this fishing pole. It's much easier to transport when you can "telescope" it down to a 3-foot section for the car, and then "extend" it to 15-feet when you reach the water! But only time will tell if it's as durable and long-lasting as I hope it will be. It feels sturdy, (and it was "on sale" when I bought it).
