Multi-pack is a great value for the dollar. What you spend on the pack you will pay for one at your local spa dealer.

They do seem to be helping balance the chemicals in my water. Not sure if it's going to make a significant difference on the amount of chemicals I have to use though.

This product is very easy to install in the piping for a spa, but it is difficult for me to judge how effective the product is in reducing chemical usage or maintaining balance. In theory, silver ions should reduce biological activity in the spa water, and thereby reduce the need for a sanitizer like chlorine or bromine. I can easily measure chlorine and pH levels, but not biological load. So I continue to add chemicals based on what I can measure.Spas are hot when they are running, and here in Phoenix, the water is quite warm (> 90 F) for many months of the year even when the spa is not running and heated. My spa water has been quite stable since adding one of these sticks, so if it is the reason, I am quite happy. They are quite cheap compared to adding liquid chlorine and muriatic acid 2 or more times a well. A reasonable investment for improved stability.

These spa mineral cartridges are well made. The description states that it includes 6 different minerals. This is an improvement over other off brand cartridges which do not state which minerals they include. Having silver ions is comforting as most major manufacturers utilize silver ion in their spa systems. Overall, a 5 star product.

This review is for OBMAO Spa Mineral Stick/Hot Tub Stick Ag+ Filter Silver Ion Cartridge with 4 Months Lifetime Universal for Hot Tub,Keep Water Clear(Grey,4PCS).Came as 2 packages of 2. They are already broken down in size (instead of a long stick like a previous brand). They include some end inserts to elongate them to fit the size of your hot tub filter. Cartridges seem to be well made and of similar quality to the main brand. Time will tell how well these work, but a good mineral stick should help lessen the amount of chemicals you may need in your hot tub.

These go inside our filter cartridge and help keep us from using as many chemicles. We put chlorine in once a week unless we’re using the hot tub frequently. These aren’t as wide as the ones made for our hot tub, but they’re cheaper, and we’ve successfully substituted these. They work well.
