I think it would have worked perfect, but it did not fit the axle for my 1972 Jeep Cj5. I think this is for disc brake models 1976 and on and I have 11 inch drums up front.This, and the fact that I was sold a used piece as evidenced by the crimp mark, hence my reason for return. But thank you Dana Spicer for a piece that is normally needed, and not so easy to find.

Edges are sharp..should clean em up... Ended up getting a NAPA skf spindle bearing kit and it came with a slinger that was cleaner and not so cheap stamped metal looking for $5 bucks more plus it came with the seals and thrust washer....
