It is designed to work with a cordless drill. The stud on the cup is too short to be used on a drill. It cannot be used without modification.

Why would you have metal screws right next to the ball and with the possibility of the ball falling out of the cup it can (and will) get scratched…deep and long

I purchased this ball spinner kit and received a defective spinner.mine did not spin as advertised and made noise when it rotated.I contacted Spinbusters three times and never received a reply.Even if the spinner worked, I dont think it would last, poor quality.Also, the pad cup/holder has a threaded stud that is used to connect to your drill, and is used to connect the hand device. But when you tighten the stud to your drill, it ruins the threads so you can't connect the hand device anymore. Paid $65 bucks and can't even use it. Real good customer service not even replying to messages/phone call regarding my defective spinner. lol
