It was not unplug and plug like I thought it would be. I had to cut and soilder the cables (easy, just tedious)I used the same scroll button as the new one was too fat.My Dx8 works like new again!

Works perfectly, just as advertised. The color is a bit different than the original though, but I like it, I think it looks ok. It was plug and play in my case, so that was great. The seller was really nice to resend the part since USPS lost the package.

I was able to repair a faulty switch assembly on a DX6i for a very reasonable cost with this replacement switch.

This did not fit my US Spektrum DX8-gen2 radio the cable is hard soldered to the board and the connector pin size and size of plug do not fit into the transmitter board. The only thing that was correct was the switch which could be desoldered, pins bent slightly and replaced into the original board.
