Our Melt and Pour Clear Soap Base sets a new standard for "standard" glycerin soap base. It is crystal clear with no odor and is made from ALL VEGETABLE OIL. Glycerin, a natural emollient, is included to draw moisture from the air to benefit skin. It cleanses without stripping or upsetting the delicate natural pH balance necessary for soft, healthy looking skin. And, since we don't use animal oils, our soap rinses clean and leaves no soapy film behind. All our soap bases are produced with high-quality raw materials to form a luxurious lather and sparkling clarity.
Usage: A two pound brick can make between 10 - 20 soaps, depending on the size of the soap you’re trying to make.

Caution: When making soaps it is good to remember that the Melt & Pour Bases contain water as part of the formula. So if they are left exposed to the atmosphere, the water will evaporate and the bar of soap will shrink. We would recommend fully wrapping the ENTIRE soap bar as soon as it is poured and cooled--this should minimize/eliminate any shrinkage.

Used for imbeds in a soap recipe. They worked well with the CP soap batter that I made. The melt and pour mixed well with the mica that I used.

I learned you must use the exact amount or your entire recipe will go wrong. That’s the persons fault. This is great for beginners and ppl who are only using for them self. It’s too expensive to use if your making balk product

It is okn the smaller side and the smell is no that good also the lather is not that good but it does get soapy.

When I first began crafting my own soap, I bought a soap base from a store in Houston. I didn't like the smell. I went online & found this soap base. I've been a buyer of it ever since.

Bought for my sisters for making soap and they loved it! However, when using, it does dry a little quick so work fast if going to add things to it. It's also a little difficult to take out but with a couple taps on the container it should come out easily. Would recommend using!

I have made countless soaps with this base - it's nice to make watercolor looks with the clear - only issue is that soap will sweat and it is sensitive to vanilla fragrances… they have other versions that are not, I did find out.
