Of all the pool/spa vacuums out there, this one is the most durable and pretty effective. I’ve tried several different brands and models, but this one holds up the longest. Sometimes it will “burp” up some debris if I don’t turn it off right as I’m pulling it out of the water or turn it on just as it’s entering, but it sucks up pretty much everything. I don’t like to use these head brush attachment, just the main cap works good.I’ve bought maybe 3 or 4 of these in the last two years (used between two technicians) and they hold up well. They fall and bounce off of things sometimes but hold up well. I service 15 - 20 hot tubs a day and one charge seems to last me 2-3 days. There’s other pool vacuums with better suction that maybe don’t burp, but they’re not as durable as this. I’d rather buy 2-3 of these a year than one more expensive one that burns up after a month or two, even if they don’t burp up debris as much.

I was looking for a small handheld vacuum that I could use to clean the stairs of my pool and this stick vacuum is awesome! The scrubbing bristles feature is perfect for my steps due to the texturized grooves in them, AND the indentations that run from my shallow end down to my deep end. Both areas regularly collect fine to medium debris and this stick vac was able to pick up the debris while also giving it a light scrub, as needed. This past week, my Polaris robot vac died and this stick vac was a true lifesaver when we had a pool party already scheduled.Set up and putting it together was super easy and only took a few minutes. The double-extending pole locks and unlocks very easily and extends considerably longer than I expected (about 10 feet deep); it was as close to perfect as I'll ever get considering I have a 13-foot-deep end in my pool. The charge lasts several small uses, or a single 45-ish minute run, and it has great suction for the size; it even sucks up medium-sized leaves which are a huge problem in my pool. [Unofficially, I occasionally slide a pool sock into the filter to pick up fine debris before guests arrive and it's crazy how much fine dirt this stick vac can pick up.]Overall this stick vacuum is working great for me and if you are looking for something lightweight and convenient, this definitely gets the job done. I highly recommend it!🙂Note: I'm not a "give everything 5 stars" reviewer. This is my honest opinion and I hope it helps in your decision.

The vacuum was great for about 3 weeks. I charged it overnight and when I went to use it the vacuum had no charge and would not come on. Very disappointed as it was doing everything I was looking for.

This is a pretty good little vac for debris but I don't recommend it for algae.

This is exactly the type of vacuum I was looking for for my hot tub. It is small enough to get into any and all crevices. It has ample suction to pick up sand, small gravel, and anything else that may have settled to the bottom. I can’t imagine that this is effective for a swimming pool, but it is perfect for a hot tub spa, I’ve only used it a few times, but it has worked perfectly. Assuming that it continues to work in this manner it will be perfect for keeping my hot tub perfectly clean.

Worked well for 2 months. Now won't charge or turn on at all. Not even sure I have it paid off yet
