Stihl chain has Oilomatic drive link lubrication slots, which funnels oil directly to the rivet to reduce wear. Stihl chain is also pre-stretched at the factory, which helps eliminate excess adjustments during break in periods. 26RS is part of the Stihl Rapid Super series. 26RS is a fast cutting chisel chain which work best in clean cutting conditions, where there is limited contact with dirt and other abrasive materials. This is a yellow labeled saw chain. This product has increased risk of kickback injury and is for use only by persons with extraordinary cutting needs and experience and specialized training for dealing with kickback. DO NOT USE THIS SAW CHAIN UNLESS YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE AND SPECIALIZED TRAINING FOR DEALING WITH KICKBACK.

Have not used this particular chain yet but Stihl chains have always been very high quality. Be careful not to let the chain contact dirt.

This is the best chain ! All the rest are inferior ! This is not the wimpy homeowner low kickback chain that only cuts a small piece out.This is the professional chain that takes a big chunk of wood out with every link !Don't buy this if you can't handle the full power of a chainsaw without the safety of a low-kick back chain.

These cost more than generic chains, but I know what I'm getting. These are brand name Stihl chains even if the package looks slightly different. Stihl has many different package designs based on specific markets and contracts. These are the real deal (not fake). I prefer their professional chains because they cut faster without the extra "hump" they have on the anti-kickback chains. If you only have limited experience with chainsaws do not buy this chain. I have several Stihl saws and always use these. They sharpen well and I use them until its obvious that I'm down to just nubs.

this yellow is the coarse style blade vs the the green box. the blade takes out coarse sawdust vs fine
